Worship

Freedom Moravian Church is a welcoming community of Christian people.  We hold services on Sundays, have Sunday School from September to May, Communion (open to all) the first Sunday of every month , and a contemporary service the third Sunday of every month.   Christian Holidays are celebrated with Worship and  Holy Communion.  Please come and join us.

Adult Scripture Studies

Prior to Sunday Worship services, a scripture study group meets in the Social Hall.  This group may discuss a                                                            shared book also.  All are welcome to participate.

Formal Adult Bible Studies are also held at various times of the year.  Watch the Events Calendar for dates                                                                                               and times.

Sunday School
                                                                           Classes are for ages 5-14.
One class is for children in Kindergarten through third grade, and the second is for those in fourth grade                                                                                 through eighth grade.
Classes meet at 10:00 a.m. Sundays ; on occasion during each month, the students  attend Worship prior to                                                                                             class.

Special Music

Several times during the year guest musicians are part of the Worship service.  Types of music range from Gospel groups to harpists.

Lots of enthusiasm for singing is displayed by the congregation on the third Sunday of each month during the Contemporary Service.

Chimes Choir
Our handchime choir is a wonderful way to enjoy creating music with others, whether or not you can read music or have any experience playing in groups.
We play in Sunday worship about once per month and for special services such as Christmas Eve.
Practices are held on Wednesday evenings, beginning in the Fall and ending shortly after Easter.
Everyone is invited to ring a chime.
Contacts are Jayne Ewald and Marilyn Zimmer
The Gathering
This group of singers is always looking for new voices.  They lead the Congregation in song during the Contemporary Service.  Practices are scheduled prior as needed.
Musicians that accompany the group include trombones, cornets, and guitars, and all are welcome to play.
